  • Has anyone tried the great Italian restaurant, just below El Timon in the Marblanco Commercial Centre, if not you should give it a go the views are great the prices are good and the food each time i have visited has been excellent, and it has been busy so would recommend that you book.

  • We went the other night. Good location. Better view than La Pergola. Reasonable food not great. Prices OK and reasonable service. Will go again.

  • We have been to this restaurant recently and unfortunately it was not a good experience . The staff were brusque to say the least. We were shown to a table, given the menu, asked if we wanted a drink....common practice....as ever I said that I would like time to look at the menu and then order drinks. We carried on looking at the menu....another waiter came and again tried to push the wine/drinks...at this point we felt under pressure to order a drink, and shortly after we were asked for our order...garlic bread and pizzas. The food is OK...'plonked' in front of you, but OK....nothing like a sprinkle of black pepper or anyone asking you whether you were enjoying your meal. Plates cleared, asked for the bill and left....even the owner who was chatting at the entrance didn't say goodnight.
Food...OK...snack bar with a good view
Service...I would actually say it bordered on aggressive...waiters standing with arms folded/hands on hips....very surly.
    Would I go again...certainly not for a relaxed evening...maybe a takeaway.

i am so surprised at your report.  we have eaten at san remo many times and always found the food good, and the staff professional.

  • Immediately above San Remo is El Timon - always a nice warm welcome, friendly staff, nicely presented food and reasonable prices - as for the views, well - takes some beating
I wanted to be the Cincinnati Kid - but couldn't spell it

  • Had my first meal in San Remo last week, the food and service were good and prices reasonable - the place was full, so they must be doing something right !
