Uk disabled car badge.

Happy new year everyone!
Iím bringing my aged
mother over for a holiday in Feb. She has a UK disabled car badge.
I need to know if it would be valid in LG?  I am hiring a car with AutoReisen
for the whole month . I know the middle of town is not the easiest for a disabled
person.
Any answers appreciated 😊

You are correct Linda however at present they are isolated because of the road works.

There is a disabled bay outside the Bamboo Bar, so ideal really. Just drop mum of at 12 in the day, and carry her back at closing. Holiday sorted!

Of course the Blue badge will still be accepted! (project fear is buried, don't panic! move on).
Is the road down then from Simple Simon to Plaza going to be pedestrianised.
Leaving the other side down to harbour 2 way.

It is looking that way pilgrim. going to be difficult with coaches and delivery trucks. Also what will happen with coaches and deliveries to the hotel ?

Maybe although it is pedestrianised, they will allow access for the delivery and taxi rank only. It's what they have done in some Towns over here.

Why are you saying it looks like it will be pedestrianised?

I was down there today and they haven't started any work on that road yet. It also looks like the other leg of the one way system is too narrow to convert into two way traffic, even if all the parking spots are removed. It looks like it is was made one way, like most of the roads in LG, because they are all narrow.

The two blue badge spots in the village are now available.
