Windy! lot's of Germans, a little bit dated. You will miss Los Gigantes. Ah! and not as much sun.

It has better restaurants than LG and more variety and authenticity.

for eating try the lanes between Plaza del Charco and Plays Jardin, spoilt for choice, all tastes and all prices catered for. The Botanical gardens are worth a visit, and a trip to Santa Cruz or La Laguna by the express bus, very quick journey along the north motorway. La Laguna in particular is a beautiful unspoilt place.

Had to ring jet 2 today who we are travelling with for the first time about our visit over the 27th March because we were concerned about brexit

The call centre was really excellent and I was impressed

Has anyone else used jet2

We went to Cyprus from Stansted with Jet2. Very nice planes, legroom bigger than Thomas Cook, tui and easyJet. More baggage allowance too.  We've just booked a week in the ambassador apartments in Puerto de la Cruz in October and the flight is with Jet2 again. We've only ever been to the north for the day on the bus so it'll be nice to stay for longer and visit la oratava, the botanical gardens, etc.

We have flown with jet2, the boarding process is far smoother than Easyjet and there is more legroom, what put us off was the commentary when onboard, you start nodding off, then you are awoken with childish American style commentary, music then hi boys and girls we have some great offers for you, it would switch between male and female voices, this was repeated many times, it became annoying! it was the only fault really.
