Annual Pilgrimage

Eight weeks to go to our annual visit.  Obviously try and keep a watch on what is going on.  Would love to hear if there is anything new, anything gone.  Any new fabulous acts that I need to check out in the bars and venues.  Any new restaurants.  Early but Feliz Navidad xxxx

Hi MagsnMike

We are doing our annual pilgrimage too from 21 December.  Looking forward to it so much.

Looks like some things closed, some opened, but we hope things haven't changed too much

Enjoy!

Feliz Navidad

Simple Simons that was, now had name changed to Deli something or other, is still open but whilst some basics are there, I don't think it's a patch on what it used to be 5 years ago. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Simple Simons is exactly the same and they now sell stuff from Iceland.
The staff are very helpful and it is pretty good.

We always pop in there for a few items perhaps just to keep it going

The homemade pies and pasties are very good

Yeah, the wife and I will be heading over to PdS on 11th January for 5 weeks. Looking forward to it, as always. A little winter sun always cheers the wife up no end. Looking forward to attending the quiz evenings in the Bar Bamboo among other things.

Don't forget the quiz nights on Wednesday at the 60's bar. Also Karicroke  Really good entertaining nights run by Ed and Holly.

Never been in bamboo bar

Always packed when we get there

What time do you need to get a seat to get involved in the quiz

Looking forward to trying out the 60's bar.  Always enjoy a sing along with Holly when she is at Domingos.

Bamboo bar always busy but we find there is usually room and people are happy to share tables.

On countdown to 21st December now  8)

EllenandRichard.   How long are you out for and where do you stay?  Might bump into you.  We are 29th December for two weeks at El Sombrero.

Hi Georgie, In answer to your question about the quiz nights in the Bamboo Bar. They're on Monday and Thursday nights. If you get there between 9:00pm and 9:15 pm you'll be in plenty of time. The Monday night quiz is normally a music and sport quiz and then the Thursday night quiz is a general knowledge quiz.
