Got my Ten+ Card & used it several times on the last trip - very good as I can top it up online and check my balance.

You can use the Ten+ card for multiple people, as long as you have the funds on the card. I've used it for 4 people - just tell the driver how many before you tap the card. He enters the number, you tap the card once and your are all set. Just don't forget to tap out when you get off the bus (only once, regardless of how many people are travelling on your card).

I believe that you can get it at the following
SUP. LOS GIGANTES
SANTIAGO DEL TEIDE
FLOR DE PASCUAL, 1 - 11
According to the Tenmas website.

Does this give you discount off the normal fare?

You say you can top up online but what if you haven't got internet? Do you ask in the shop for a certain denomination, say 20:euros, and if you can't top up as you have no internet, do you just buy another one? Also, is there another machine on the bus somewhere to tap as you get off?

Sandylea, the cost of the card is €2 from the village supermarket, you can too up €10, €15,€20 etc...We got one when we were out in January. The expiry date on our card is 2028. There is another machine you tap when getting off at the rear exit of the bus and it also gives you your remaining balance.  Otherwise you would be charged to the end of the line. For instance if you got on the Los Christian's bus but got of at playa Arena etc.   It's all very easy and straightforward. Hope this helps.
