Discovered that Green Clinic only accept Saga and Post Office insurance now. Husband admitted under Just Travel Insurance and refused treatment, sent on to Candelaria for surgery. Green clinic advise that most insurers now put a sentence in the small print they will only cover up to first 24hours private hospital if patient fit enough to be transported to public hospital. Also they don't accept any guarantees of payment from any insurance companies other than the two I mention above. BE AWARE!!!

Thanks for heads up Angie, looks like I will be getting our insurance out today to check. We have always used LV and fingers crossed not needed them yet, but it’s no good waiting until we do to find out they won’t be accepted.
