Papers have bean reporting here today in UK big storms yesterday in Tenerife, many cancelled flights etc.
What was it like in LG.
Here rubbish also, we are returning next Monday! So hope it is all back to normal.

Both airports were closedbriefly and much debris atTFS south when we met our friendsflying in from Scotland Late afternoon. Departure hall was jam packed due toknock on effect of cancelled flights earlier in day. Santa Cruz was badly affected by rivers running in Barrancas and muchstreet flooding. El Medano had problems with sewers not coping with rainwater and the beaches damaged by heavy rain. st Juan had the usual baranco flooded running into the sea butno cars parked in carpark this time. Comparedto other parts of the island LG got off light, just rain, gusty. Yesterday was beautiful, really blue skies. Today is dull,heavy skies, cool (16°) as i write, windy and threatening rain. Tomorrow is forecast bad again, but as things change so rapdily, wait and see.

Friends were delayed on their outbound Sunday, they spent three hours on the plane waiting to take off, ithey eventually got off the ground just before the crew were out of allowed flying time. As you say Angie TFS was shut due to the runway being flooded and flights were being diverted.
So the hall was full to bursting, hopefully it will soon be back to the lovely sunshine.

Our apartments had no electricity from 2:30 to late evening, but overall didn’t think the weather was that bad in LG.
Bit hit and miss today but preferable to snow and cold back in the UK.

It's still not as bad as here in the UK, just returned from a week in Prague cool but lovely blue sky's . It's flipping freezing here and of course with some snow the country is coming to a standstill.

I left early today and when got home the sun was shining

But other parts of essex and Suffolk had lots of snow
