Carnival cancelled due to weather warning

Los Gigantes Carnival, due to start today has been cancelled (postponed) due to Bad weather alert

Watch this space for new dates and program

That’s 2 postponements in 3 years. Climate change anyone ?

Such a shame the Carnival is cancelled once more due to the weather.  We have been lucky enough in years gone by to be there with good weather, albeit slightly later.  I know the Carnivals are based around the Easter dates and certainly would not want to interfere with any religious significance.  Is it possible for the Carnival to be moved to a later date when weather not guaranteed but maybe slightly better than February, early March is considered.
