Xmas in the harbour ......

Bit of a miserable xmas spirit in the harbour this year ...... not a single xmas decoration in sight. In addition, the display in the main square is poor in comparison to other years. Scrooge must be in LG this year .........

They must be saving all their pennies (sorry Cents) towards the millions they are going to spend on the area.

That is a shame. I was really looking forward to seeing the decorations in the harbour this weekend. They looked so pretty last year. Have el Sombrero got their decorations and lights up?

Currently in lanzarote and the xmas trees and decorations are great

We don't holiday in the summer anymore because our kids are now adults and we like to spend the summer in our garden

We visit los gigantes twice a year for a week each and lanzarote for one week also and we alternate depending on prices

We are out again in March and I will let you know if you fancy a beer in the harbour club

As we are here now, I'll answer my own question. El sombrero does have its lights up, the harbour still has nothing but the lights running above the square giving it an almost roof effect of coloured lights, together with the tall artificial tree, looked lovely last night. The canarian singers and dancers gave a truly brilliant and magical show in the square last night too.
