They said the food was lovely Georgie. There are lots of nice quiet seating areas also. It's well laid out. There was daytime entertainment at the pool. They used to model bikinis for sale. My mum said it was hilarious, the men appeared out of the woodwork to see it. She said rhe staff were all lovely too.

Yes, across the road from the chemist. You can see the glass lift from the road. The sea views are lovely from the pool area.

Wrong hotel LG. The Be Live used to be known as Costa Los Gigantes. Up cardiac hill to the Fisherwoman's, go straight across and the hotel is about 300 yards on the right. The one you are thinking of is Hotel de La Arena.

Hotel Playa de la Arena is also part of the Be Live hotel chain.

Oh god, you're absolutely right Blarer, sorry Georgie, my mum definitely stayed in Playa Arena Hotel across from the chemist. We've also had a nosey in the other one though when walking up to Mercadona. It looks lovely. Sorry, I'm an idiot.  :-[

The building work is taking place outside where waterfall use to be ,not sure what they are doing. As there no security at the door I know of a few people who were not residents walk straight to the pool and spent a couple of hours there

Hi

Not sure if it helps now but flights for this Christmas with Ryanair are very cheap at the moment - they have reduced in the last few weeks from around 300.  Even when you add priority boarding and reserved seats it is still very reasonable.
We are flying out on 21st and returning on 29th from East Mids for 135 all in.

Accommodation is always more expensive at Xmas but try Tenerife Holiday Apartments to see if they have any availability or look on Booking.com.

I understand the renting laws introduced in 2014 have now been revoked.

Georgie, you say you booked for March 2020. Looking at the people over here these couple of weeks, and I guess you may be in the same age category. I guess we can call you an optimist.

Our April visit to el sombrero is with Thomas Cook. Oh dear! Georgie, el sombrero is hardly paradise, just cheap basic clean apartments. We've been going to them about 10 years now and paradise is and never has been an accurate description!

When I say paradise you are only there to sleep and have breakfast

Are you mad

Don't know where you live but it is paradise to me

Crazy to keep questioning things

Open your mind

The value is very good and the supermarkets are cheap and high quality
