Any updates on the recent damage to these apartments, a friend is interested in staying there but not sure if they are now ok.

There are only a few of the front row top which have no balcony roof.  The others are not damaged and life goes on as normal.

The work to repair the damage to the roof has started.  The scaffolding went up this week.  Don't let it put you off visiting as all the bars restaurants and shops are open.

Also the refurbished supermarket, taken over by Superdino, is due to open any day now

Sorry but my favourite apartments

Just need a coat of paint and a re furb

Surely the owners know this and are sitting on a gold mine

They are all leasehold Georgie therefore no owner is sitting on a gold mine and I believe the leases are short so no one is going to spend big money doing them up .

I know and thank you

But what a view and from the balcony you can watch the world go by

It was our first visit to los gigantes years ago when we fell in love with the place

Due to the poor state of the apartments we never have been back

Georgie, you really must read what other people post instead of worrying if restaurant prices are going up or down

I have posted the legalities on renting many times try and read them

Why as I have stated in the past European Law says you can ,also if you read Janet Anscombe you would see the courts have ruled against the councils  and stated you can rent out.
