  • Not long now ,coming out on the 22nd Dec !Can anyone recommend somewhere to eat on xmas day ,either lunch or evening.Do we need to book if so has anyone got any contact numbers?
    I've been told that the Aussie guy Steve who used to work in the highland paddy for many years now has a bar himself ?If thats correct does anyone know what bar that is ?

  • It is definitely recommended that you book for christmas day but if you've never been before you will be paying well over the top for a meal. Double the price at least.

  • Some friends of mine stayed in Los Gigantes and hadn't booked for Christmas Day but managed to get a table in Little Italy and were offered the normal menu at normal prices. I don't know if the situation is the same now (this was about 3 years ago) but worth a try.

  • hi  try cafe arena in playa arena.  they are serving xmas lunches from 12.30.  dave and lynn are great people and the food there is always good. well worth a try. we will be there :P

  • yes you are absolutely right steve did move to another bar but I understand it has closed.  I have to say that the atmosphere in the place where we can't mention (how ridiculous) has a far better atmosphere - though I did like steve personally he was indeed quite miserable sometimes.
    Yes it is ridiculous H Lass, but done at the express wish of the owner himself who quote " doesnt want the name of hs business mentioned on the site whether for good or bad, so please take it up with him. x GiGi
