Wine Bar

  • I read in the Tenerife Sun Newspaper today that the Wine Bar is moving down to the Harbour Club on February 29th.

I am due to come out to LG in two weeks and wondered if this meant that there will be a period when both eateries will be closed or are they moving overnight and normal business will commence during the change over?  I just wondered as we do eat a lot at the Wine Bar as by most evenings we are more than happy to take short stroll up the road knowing we will have a well cooked meal.

I also wondered what is happening to the existing restaurant at The Harbour Club.  I know they are managed by the same people but it was a very different menu to the Wine Bar?

    Anyone have any additional information?

    Thanks

  • Yes blaggers I to was thinking the same thing, we are due out soon as well although we are back by the day they move, we also eat a couple of evenings a week in the wine bar and was wondering if the new owners was carrying on with the same menu or is it all going down to the harbour club as we like to lunch there as well. Its not a problem this visit but was thinking for later in the year

  • Yes the Winebar is moving. As from 1st March 2008 will be situated at the Harbour Club. The food will be the same no changes there.  Same menu, same staff, and the same specials. The only difference is it will be open 7 nights a week, and the phone number will change to 922 86 29 68. The tennis club will continue to open as normal until the 31st March 2008.

  • until the 31st March the tennis club and pool will run the same, then the landlords will take possession of it.
It will then be up them to run it or find a new owner for the lease.

  • I?m sorry June but that sort of reply is totally uncalled for, I think Janey Adam has a interest in 1976 and is moving both business into one. Is the polite way of putting it  :P
