  • This current spell of bad weather is set to last a few more days.

The Met Office has put out yet another weather warning.  A yellow alert beginning at midnight tonight (Sunday), until midnight on Tuesday, forecasting winds gusting up to 85kph and possible up to 100kph in higher regions,  for Tenerife, Gran Canaria and La Palma.

Let?s hope it ends there and the sun shines again in time for the Christmas season.

  • The storm has well and truly set in-torrential rain and winds. 16.30 Monday.

Let us hope that it blows through quickly.

  • Woop woop - looking like the weather will change ready for my arrival on Christmas Day!
Still not sure where we'll be eating, but if all else fails I'll be the one surviving on crisps on Christmas Day.  Self catering basis at our hotel so I'm sure that if all else fails they'll allow us (for an exhorbitant fee) to have access to their wonderful buffet style restaurant!  Otherwise I'm by the pool with cocktails and crisps, but who cares, I wont be in chilly Blighty :o)
    Happy crimbo everyone
    xx

  • The stormy weather continues with the added problems of power cuts. Such fun but nothing compared to what is happening in the UK.

Our satellite reception is affected and the box takes a while to reset. Let us hope that the internet holds up as TV reception is more reliable through the computer anyway.
