  • It has just been on BBC tv that if you do the UK lottery on line you have no chance of winning.
In Spain it appears that it is illegal to do another countries lottery. They have not given a reason yet ,however it could be that it conflicts with Spains own lotteries. Lawers are looking into the possibility of getting your stake money back but don't hol your breath. More info' as and when available

  • Given the amount of Brits in Spain. There must have been a major overseas winner before now? The UK lottery has been running some 14 years.

The transaction takes place on a UK Server and the account is funded from the UK Banking System.  Camelot should be taking this up with Brussels. What sort of whims are they? As for Customer Service or Assistance, they do not seem to have any. Their reasons for doing little are pathetic.

They now have a Licence from the UK Government overseers until 2019 with an option for another 5 years, so they must be very smug. The composition of the 5 Shareholders who own Camelot is interesting as well, Cadbury Holdings Limited, De La Rue Holdings plc, Fujitsu Services Ltd, Royal Mail Enterprises Ltd and Thales Electronics plc.

Camelot is no doubt too busy throwing money at the Olympics (sucking up to the Government) to lift a finger to sort this out properly.
