  • THREE KINGS NIGHT!!!

The Three Kings have just passed my home once again and at least there is a small band this year and a very minute procession but where are where are the camels for the three Kings to travel on once again?   Again there are horses!! This is such a big night for the children and words, for once are failing me! One year on from the last one - I think it is quite pathetic for this aytamimento to think that this is acceptable for the local children who have waited so long for this night and once again SHAME ON YOU!!!!!

  • I agree, riding camels is far more apt. Not just because it is more magical
for the children. But that it is the belief and the occasion.

  • Doesn't this just give you the hump. Do the ayuntamiento not know the story.

  • It is so sad. I agree with you all. I remember ten years ago and my first Reyes here and watching in astonishment as the procession passed by the Correos, a little white donkey with Mary and Baby on board followed by Joseph on a cart and then the three kings on camels. It was magical and we commented at how wonderful it was and really showed the true meaning of Christmas, we had never seen anything like it before. Wonderful for the children and how we wished our grandchildren had been here to see it, but sadly it has got almost a non event now. However I still support it and am pleased to have witnessed last night when they arrived at a reasonable time in the Los Gigs square instead of very late which has happened before.

  • It's a sign of the times and the tightening of the purse strings is a must for the Ayuntamiento.  I don't think the excited children who were there waiting for their presents cared less how the three kings arrived.  Their excitement was lovely to witness.
