  • Hi everyone

My family and I have just returned from the village and i would like to thank everyone who made our holiday enjoyable yet again - in particular:-

The staff at our regular watering holes being the Bamboo Bar (esp. Keith and wee Jamie) (why is there not entertainment any more?)and Domingos (Paco)
Marco, Carol Tony and Ann at the Leisure Centre - and to the chef whose name I don't know - thank you for our wonderful breakfasts.
John and all the staff at CK's where we just had to try every "special" - we hope that John is feeling better now.  We would highly recommend the T Bone steak and any other steak for that matter and our daughter has suggested that you offer the mint gravy with everything!!  We enjoyed every meal and the birthday dinner for our daughter was exceptional (MANY THANKS)
Dolly Diver and her colleagues (it was lovely meeting you) for their carol singing (and shouting)and fund raising which was great fun.
Jesus at the exchange centre - nothing is a problem for him
Whoever it is that arranges the New Years Eve entertainment in the square - perfect
The staff on the Flipper Uno - and the dolphins of course, who came out and gave us a spectacular show
Our Lord - for giving us perfect weather every day
Everyone else who had a smile on their face

We thought that 3 weeks might be too much this year - but no, it was not long enough and we can't wait to get back again.

We stayed at Hibisco 3 near Crab Island and found the lovely pathway to Puerto Santiago which was lovely - and saved having to try and park the car!!

Happy New Year to each and every one of you - and see you soon

  • Nice to hear from you Ellen and it's good to know you continued to have a great time.  Just 1 comment from me.  The Bamboo bar has to be careful not to upset the neighbours with too much noise from entertainment.  They can get away with the occasional Sunday afternoon and it just so happens that rock band ?It?s Immaterial? will be playing there this Sunday 13th Jan from 2:30.  Shame you will miss it.  Hope it's not too long till you get back here again.

  • Hi

We thought it was due to the neighbours but it is a shame.  We missed the piper on New Years Eve but the atmosphere was great anyway.

We will see you all again soon

  • What a nice change to have some nice happy positive comments, from someone who obviously enjoyed their time here, why can't everyone be like this instead of the usual depressing backstabbing i have often read on this site.
