  • Please can any advise the costs of tennis courts in los gig.Can you buy a block of sessions and do the courts get booked up?

  • Courts are 10 Euros an hour and yes you can book in advance but very busy between Sept and May when "swallows" are here. Reasonably quiet at the moment with mostly us residents playing.

  • There is also a professional coach in residence if you want to improve your game. Not sure of the cost however a telephone call to the centre will tell you. There are also two good courts at the San Francisco Sport and Beach Club. A two Euro taxi ride out of the village.

  • I would like to play tennis once or twice a week if anyone is interested, or does anyone know if there are any social tennis sessions where anyone can join in.

  • hi youngpom, jamie at tj's is a local pro, he does social lessons etc. his mum works at san francisco.

  • Thanks Janey - Am new to Tenerife [P Santiago] and not easy getting to know/meet Brits who live here.  Enjoy tennis, walking, scrabble, photography and any info. on social activities really appreciated.   :) Not sure what you mean by  'socal lessons'  Is Jamie a coach?

  • yes he is!  but he is only about 21 and does organise social tennis sometimes.
