After many years of staying in apartments in Los Gigantes we have decided that this year for a change we will stay at the Los Gigantes Hotel. Although  I have looked at the details of the Hotel rooms  it doesnt say what kind of programmes can be received  on the television there. and if sky and english such as BBC and ITV are provided. I know  from staying in the apartments the television has been dreadful in the past few years and wondered if the hotel fared any better. Although not compulsive viewers we do like to see some of our favourite programmes whilst away . Im sure some member reading this will know the answer so many thanks for any replies. :) :)

  • Stayed there last year. The TV in the bedroom was free and received the usual UK terrestrial analogue channels (BBC, ITV etc). Good reception. There is also a very large TV lounge with wide screen TV. Donquote t think they had Sky.  Never really watched the TV there - spent most of the time out walking to burn off the calories.

  • Hi, Being a regular at the hotel, these are the English TV programmes available.

BBC1 is always available. BBC2 and ITV are available from time to time - the technician in the hotel says it depends on reception, Sky channels, News 24 and Eurosport.

If there is an important football match on, guests can visit the entertainment room and watch them on the big screen. We have found the TV ok. Reception is sometimes a problem with high winds etc. but there is always a technician on hand in the hotel to deal with problems and very efficient too.
