  • Hi

I just wanted to ask everyone to keep and eye out for my beloved pink scooter! It was stolen from Calle Los Angeles in Puerto Santiago about a week ago. I have been parking it there for 5 years and it was locked up so I have no idea why someone chose to take it now. I have reported it to the police. It is a Neo made by Yamaha  (no, I cant spell that) and its pink with a couple of sliver bits Registration C6696 BPW. If you can help call me on 667091261. Thank you. :( ???

  • Sorry to hear that Julia and good luck with its safe recovery, but, as you well know Easter was a perticularly busy period and it may well be that your scooter is already somehwere up North.  I'll keep my eye open in the Alcala/Playa San Juan area though.

  • I am pleased amibovvered is keeping an eye out in Alcala/Playa San Juan.  More than the police do!!!!! On Thursday of last week I saw a gentleman loitering in Playa San Juan car park for at least 2 hours during which time he had smashed the window in a white van and took items which he placed under a brick in the car park.  He then went on to try other cars with a set of keys.  I informed the police by telephone but no one appeared.  I happened to come across a Guardia vehicle in the car park and I told them what I had seen and even pointed out the offender who was casually sitting on the wall in the car park.  The police spoke to him, recovered a holdall and the items under the brick and then drove off leaving the man to continue with his exploits. What can I say.  Good luck Julian in recovering your scooter.

  • Juliasalt - sorry to hear about your scooter. It is highly unlikely anyone would be stupid enough to ride around on it in this area.  It is more likely to be somewhere over in the North with 2 mountain bikes, 2 wet suits and a chain saw whick were stolen from our garage a while back!
