  • I have a question I hope someone can answer.
What is happening outside Playa Arena Hotel? They have been power driving there for months.

  • Thanks for that information El Presidente. Now I have another question. For many years I have walked the coastal walk from Alcala to Varaderro and on my walk I pass on my left a house which was once a superb residence but has been empty and almost derelict - can anyone tell me the story of this house.

  • Maybe the house was one of those condemned as being too near the sea? Although I had heard that they have recently been given a reprieve. But I'm sure someone can fill in the details.

  • The house used to belong to a doctor and his family but hasn't been lived in for about 20 years.  It seems to have been repossessed under the access to the coastline cause. At the moment there are people living in it and electricity is installed. Also the grounds have been tidied up. Any ideas who they are?
