Is that a new sign I see at the end of C.Tabaiba? If so, it's very misleading. The upper sign (green) says "C.Tabaiba" accompanied by an appropriate arrow. Immediately below is an arrowless sign for "Centro and Playa", implying that the route to these is via C.Tabaiba. Every time I drive down the hill towards C.Tabaiba/C.Palmera I see cars in front dithering and then going up C.Tabaiba - quite understandably, if they are visitors heading for the town or beach! I have also observed confused drivers reversing back out of both C.Tabaiba and C.Palmera into the path of oncoming Titsa buses and taxis - not a wise thing to do! I wrote twice to the Ayumenta last year (and paid for a proper translation) about the misleading signage on this corner but didn't even receive the courtesy of an acknowledgement. Now it seems to have been made worse and there is definitely going to be a serious accident very soon. Is anyone in touch with Steve "Chicken Legs" or other Council member? If so, maybe they could persuade them to stand at the end of C.Tabaiba/C. Palmera for an hour and count how many vehicles take a wrong turn (I counted 25 in less than 1 hour one day!); how many reverse back on to the main road and have a near miss with a Titsa bus; and how many head back up the one way system the wrong way.
