  • Does anyone know when or if the natural pool will be re-opening, the work appears to be complete (they've been re-newing the stairs & handrail), I have see many people there but the 2 gates remain locked so they must be climbing over or going via the rocks somehow

You are correct. The work has been completed for some time now.
Before the pool can re-open, COSTAS have to give their permission.
There was supposed to have been a meeting in Santa Cruz, this week, between our Council and COSTAS.
I will keep you posted if I hear anything else.

  • Great - thank you - I could have done with a dip in there today.

  • It's a lovely place on a day when the sea is calm but very different when the sea is rough.

  • Yes it can be very dangerous - I don't think people realise, I've seen parents with kids when the sea has been very rough - crazy.  Actually I think it may be open as is was packed yesterday when I looked down and I doubt it that many people would have climbed over the gates.
