Moving pets to UK

  • Could anyone out there give me some contacts of people that could transfer a pet dog from Los Gigantes area to the UK. I understand from DEFRA the quarantine laws in the UK are being changed on 1 January 2012 which will make it easier take pets back to the UK. Thanks.

  • The vets in Alcala will help you as the pet will need full checks before travel and the passport stamped etc etc, in fact any vet should know the full procedures. Also a proper crate is required for the size of the pet, all pets have to be micro chipped as well.
