Local tradesmen

  • Hi everyone hope the weather isn't going to be as bad as forecast for you all.

Now we have our furniture (thanks for all the help last time) I now need help please with finding someone who can descale the water heater and carry out the cockroach treatment for us later in the year. Can anyone give me some names and (hopefully) contact details of people who can help please. We don't really want to use a property management company to do this as they want such a large "retainer" before they will help us.

    Thanks

  • I suggest Manfred's Office.  OK, it's a management company but Manfred gives personal service and has good contacts in all trades.  He may not require a retainer, unless you plan to use him to manage your property long term.  Tel 922 86 10 98.  Ursula will probably answer the phone.  You can e-mail Manfred at urmaro@hotmail.com

  • For the cockroach treatment, we always use a company called Guzman.  Sorry, don't know the contact details but I'm sure if you ask around someone will know them.

Manfred's Office sent a plumber who removed our gas water heater, stripped it down and chemically descaled it, all for less than 20.  That was a few years ago!  But worth asking for a quote.
