  • I know this is a long way off!!!

Do they celebrate Three Kings in Alcala?   My friend is staying at the Sensatori hotel during the Xmas/New Year period and asked me as I am the Tenerife expert???

I know you wont let me down and I can continue with the pretence that I know all things Tenerife ;) Thank you.

  • tell her to taxi to los gigantes.  and, dont forget to give her a list of nice restaurants in los gigs/pto santiago as the hotel food can be a bit samey after a while i would guess!   lets encourage these hotel guests to spend some money in our area!

  • King's Night, Jan 5th, is not enacted at Alcala as it is in Los Gigantes Plaza.

Hotel Sensatori??  Not heard of it and not in phone book, as far as I can determine.  Hope it's OK.

  • 'Hotel Sensatori' seems to be a name given to the hotel by Thomson.
The proper name is 'Gran Melia Palacio de Isora'. It's on the right, behind the filling station if you travel from Los Gigantes.
I've never been inside but it looks fantastic.

  • i have been in - it is beautiful.  they have spent so much money on it.  the pools are lovely too.  the pool is featured on the thompsons advert, look out for it!

they dont mind non residents going in for a drink/meal and i they have a large outside sun decking with music/entertainment on saturday nights which you can go to.
