  • Sorry for the delay folks, we started at 1pm on thursday there was no one around it was like a ghost town, i stayed untill 7.30pm then went to do a gig, i went back to the blarney stone after my gig and there were a few people there but not many, we managed to do a raffle and through that raised just over 100 euros, we had live entertainment on and i would like to thank the acts that turned up, its immaterial great show guys, Helen dixon Pride again great show and a person ive never met before kay, great singer thanks for your time folks, and thanks to everyone that donated, the Tajinaste restaraunt, santiago car hire, the blarney stone, also thanks go to babs for making scones and cakes, a very quiet day but at least we raised something, it was also my birthday so i celebrated a bit and didnt get out of the blarney stone untill sometime after 2.30 am could be later then i slept most of the day and had a gig tonight so thats the reason for the delay sorry again folks and once again thanks to everyone involved.

  • Aww June, supprised you didn't go, as you would have been able to confirm Jesse is real since it was you who started the who-ha about it!! :D You didn't have to stay, just pop your head in, donate a bit, then leave.

Sorry to hear it was so quiet Jesse, but 100e is better than nothing :) I am sure the thread here did not help matters, sadly :(

  • What a shame that once again this board is being used for tedious bickering.  I think it is very sad especially because of the time and effort that Dolly invests in it.  Can it once again be a venue for interesting and informative topics. >:(

  • Oh June, I am sure even Gordon Ramsey fries the occasional egg  :)

Yes, I did work in Calypso, I really enjoyed it, lovely views, nice job, nice weather, what more could you ask for? What is so sad about cooking fora living anyway?!! I do so now, and certainly do not think it a "sad" occupation.

  • I used to be a primary school teacher and, hand on heart, the kids were never as petty and ridiculous as some of the posters on here! What's up with you all?!?
