  • What's happened to the Green Corner, does anyone actually drink in there these days.

  • The Green Corner gets busy these days.  It now has new management with entertainment every evening as well as Sunday afternoons.

  • Called in the Green Corner the other night for a nightcap with some friends.  Us two ladies ordered Baileys Coffee - it came in a large workman's style white mug, hardly dainty and the 'entertainment' left a lot to be desired - to put it mildly!

  • We called into the Green Corner for a drink when we were over in November. I thought the place was minging!  The tables were dirty - overflowing ashtrays and empty glasses even though the place was empty.   We ordered two glasses of white wine.  When they came we had to ask for the glasses to be changed because they were dirty around the rim of the glass.  We had previously had a drink in Luis' bar in the square.  There was no comparison! In Luis' bar the wine was cold, came in clean glasses and was far superior than the plonk served in the Green Corner - it was also a lot cheaper.
