  • Graffiti has appeared in Los Gigantes and Puerto Santiago overnight.  It is an 'A' symbol and I have seen it on cardiac hill and down the Ferreteria roads this morning, together with a slogan 'F**K The System' on the Vigilia Park wall.  I have also heard that it is all over the Crab Island sign and somebody in that area has had a symbol daubed on their car.  Actually, I've just looked again and the Vigilia Park wall has been painted over in white so somebody (Ayunmiento maybe?) has done a quick remedy job.  Doesn't look good though.  Anybody else seen it and where?

  • Yes my husband and I have seen it - it's all over, it's such mindless vandalism. As far as I am aware it has been reported.

  • Been a bit of an anorak this evening with Blue Biscuit and we've 'googled' the logo that has been daubed everywhere.  It is an Anarchy logo and could have something to do with Anti-Globalisation/Anti-Capitalism?   Have also heard reports of logo and the word 'Thanks' daubed on the bins in Puerto Santiago.  There has also been a report of a car break-in in Florida (Los Gigantes) and more grafitti on the wall opposite Simple Simons.  Would be interested to hear anybody else's reports or comments about what all this might mean?

  • I hear that a young man aged 17 has been arrested for all the graffiti and damage, apparently he bought the paint locally!! Has anyone else heard this good news?
