  • Hi all. Apologies if this has been posted before but I was just browsing through Google Earth and noticed that the aerial images for Los Gigs/Tenerife have been updated to 2007. The detail is terrific although its quite scary to see the amount of new development from above.

  • I'm over the moon !!.

I saw the satellite pass over head as I was enjoying a cornet on the beach.  If you look carefully you can see me. Shortly afterwards I had to move, cos the tide was waiting to come in  ;D

  • What I find fascinating about the photography is the 3D effect when you tick the terrain box and use the tilt and rotate functions. The views of Teide are absolutely spectacular. Itquote s like flying in a helicopter.

  • Hey 'Smarty Pants' you get the drift.  Have you noticed anything interesting about the shape of the pool?  If so then you will understand that my mind wasn't on correct spelling. :D
