  • Hello Everyone, We are coming over on 9th Feb for my 50th birthday.Have been to Los Gigantes 5 times now and love it,always stay at Las Rosas(Great Views) Can anyone recommend a restaurant for my big night? Have heard something about a place up the hill but not sure where? Willing to try anything but do not want to travel to far. Thanks, aninginaneana.

  • Somewhere that is overlooked on this forum is Casa Pedro in Puerto Santiago. Good food and good atmosphere in the evenings. Good views during the day too.

It is situated on the short straight bit of road between the two sharp bends on which buses and trucks often have problems.

  • hi, I would like to recommend Maxims french restaurant in L.G, as you are looking for good food, I had a great meal there and the ambiance is great, the food is good quality, very tasty, and very reasonable, another good restaurant is Chez Damien, but it is not local.  Does anyone know where bar rios is?

  • I'm with Poolepirate - have been to Casa Pedro a few times and food has always been good. It's one of those places that I'd passed a million times and never went in - please try it.

  • if you can give me some idea of what you are looking for I'm sure I can suggest at least a couple of places,
    also
do you want to walk to whereever you go ?
what sort of price do you want to pay?
    is the setting important?
what sort of food do you like?
from Las Rosas (which is actually in PS not LG) do you prefer going to LG or PS & PA

  • Hi, CS, Thanks for reply. We really will try anything but fancy something different?(traditional Spanish,Fish,Canarian)To walk there would be nice but quite prepared to get taxi as well.Like somewhere outside with views as only really eat outside on holiday. As I say,we are easily pleased and have enjoyed meals at most of the places mentioned on this website but wonder if there is an undiscovered (by us) gem.aninginaneana.
