  • UK Tour operator Globespan and airline Flyglobespan ceased trading on 16 December. We (The British Consulete in Tenerife) understand all Flyglobespan flights have been cancelled. Travellers booked on a package holiday with the tour operator Globespan are protected by the Civil Aviation Authority's (CAA?s) ATOL scheme and will be assisted by the CAA's local agents to make alternative flight arrangements.

More information is available at the CAA's website at www.atol.org.uk Travellers who booked direct with the airline Flyglobespan are not protected and will need to make their own alternative arrangements to fly home. Information about alternative airlines is also available on the CAA website at www.atol.org.uk
