  • What are those fish that swim in the marina?

  • The predominant species are Mullet, however there are many other species, including barracuda which swim over the sunken wreck, take your pick, most of the atlantic species are there if you chill out and observe.

  • I believe fishing is not allowed, but one of the locals told us that the grey mullet are black inside from all the diesel, so would not be worth eating. However they look as if they thrive on it. I have seen a barracuda once, and last year there was a ray of some sort in the marina for several weeks. It was 5 or 6 feet across.

    On google earth at 13:59 UK Time
    in was heading out to sea.
