  • Do these still operate by the cliffs and what is the purposes of these.

Are they for special types of fish that are extinct?

  • The fish farms of Los Gigantes have been dismantled - no more government funding.

When it was operating the fish were for sale locally

No, fish that are extinct are no longer with us, because, erm, they are gone, as in extinct!

  • Just fish for eating, nothing special and no conservation programme. They packed quite a few in each fish farm.

  • Does this mean that the dolphins do not swim around the cliffs then.

I do remember going out with the family on those yellow speed boats at the time of feeding and seeing the dolphins close up.

  • The dolphins were around long before the fish farms!  I'm glad to hear they've been dismantled as they were a blot on the landscape if you ask me!
