  • I think that I would rather have a sharp stick inserted up my rectum! even at this price you are commited to paying the yearly fee of 200. just as cheap to book a private pad, plus you have the choice of a different place every year. However if you would like to pay into my Nigerian Christmas hamper fund, it will be starting shortly.

  • It would seem a joke, unfortunately I dont think so. A lot of people who fell for the timeshare scam did not realise that they were legally commited to maintenance payments. So if they no longer wanted the weeks they had bought, they had to offload them cheaply before the maintenance cost overtook any profit they could make from a sale. Rather sad really, we have friends nearby who bought a lease on a block of holiday lets, because of the falling rental market, they are losing money, they cannot sell the lease the way things are, they are stuck paying rent till the end of the contract.
Still, could be worse, it could have been me ;D

  • The ebay auction for this timeshare has now closed with no bids - perhaps the starting price of .99 pence was too high   ::)

  • You can now save yourself 49 pence and bid for this holiday at Las Rosas (was previously advertised at a starting bid of 500 - but no takers)

  • Someone has bought this timeshare for the princely sum of 50 pence - wonder how much the timeshare cost when it was purchased originally ! - and sold presumably as an "investment opportunity not to be missed"

  • Ok, losgigantes kid, it is quite obvious that you have been watching this auction with interest, in fact, I think you broke the piggy bank and lashed out and bought it! There is no need to deny it, we are all here to help you, so spill the beans, pour your heart out, and ask any question you want, we are here to help and advise you :)
By the way, I reckon they paid 1500 europs tops for the pad, before common sense took over and the running costs clicked in, call me Mr cynical or Sir, I dont mind either ;D

  • I've been rumbled !! ok - I confess I am the buyer of the time share at Las Rosas - although I have to admit I did have a struggle to raise the funds but luckily Lloyds TSB finally agreed my mortgage but I did have to find the deposit of 10 pence.

The reason I particularly wanted Las Rosas as opposed to El Marques was the size of the swimming pool.

Unbeknown to Mrs Kid I have a - well, lets just say "a bit on the side" -  she loves diving off the edge into the pool, just make sure you are not in the pool when she decides to take a dip.

I needed a little hide away for our trysts - Las Rosas will do nicely

I keep a photo of her in my wallet and am happy to share this with you now
