  • Help! Made a fuax pas on my holiday dates, coming out on Wednesday 6th till 20th - and the first Formula 1 race of the season is on the 17th. The apt we are staying in,hibisco, only gets news channels,  not normally a problem, but I mean it is the first race of the season, important, need to know all the new rules and new drivers etc.

Is there anywhere in Los Gigantes that will be showing it?

How could I have done this? normally so careful around F1 calendar!
    Husband not too happy either!

  • The race starts at 06.00 so those places will probably not be open.

  • Could you get someone to record it for you here?  Which channel is it on and will you have access here to a DVD and/or video player?

  • You could try Moniques Bar in the Harbour.  Alternatively, there are two bars opposite the Barcelo in Puerto Santiago - they always show the F1 races.

  • The race will be shown live on Spanish T.V. either La1 or Tele5, the commentary will be Spanish of course.
If you want English commentary BBC5 Live is available on the internet ( listen to radio, watching T.V. )
