  • El Hiero is well worth a visit.  There is a daily ferry from Los Cristianos, the trip takes a couple of hours. The ferry company is Fred Olsen www.fredolsen.es but the direct link you need is
https://reservas.fredolsen.es/reservas/asistente/trayecto.aspx?culturechoice=en-US this gets you to the correct page in English.  On the departure section change it from Santa Cruz to Los Cristianos and the information will be there.

Have a good time and let us know how you enjoyed your trip.

  • Nice one Bear!

Please note that there are other tenerife forums that will give information without worrying whether there is advertising in it for them or who they are likely to upset (within reason).

Please note I am not Edward Bear, I have only one name on this forum and the only reason that I hide behind the posting name is that everyone does it.

  • Thanks for the link, I will let you know how I get on, but I have to say I didn't realise how expensive it was, over 300 euros and that was without overnight accom if we decided to stay the night. Might do La Gomera first as that was about 150 euros.
