  • My family and I have just returned from lovely Los Gigantis where we had a fabulos very hot time. I had spent some time on this site researching good family resturaunts before we went so I think a little feedback is in order.

We stayed at El Marques, at the top of cardiac hill, we ate there a couple of times (which is also open to the public) and we found it very good value for money the fillet steak is the best i have had in ages. I did find that in most restraunts that you automatically got chips and vegetables unless you specified that you would prefere canarian potatoes and salad.

We also ate at La Bodeguita which was better value for money however, I feel, that the food was of a lower standard than most other places. Be warned if you do eat there and sit near the balcony make sure that your 9 year old son doenst knock his glass off the edge on to the street below which was, luckily, clear of any parked cars.

Little Italy; lovely pasta and great pizza. Kids menu very limited, however, they did scale down a very nice tuna salad for us. The service was not "with a smile" but I cant fault the food.

Paradiso de Sol. We had a lovely meal here. The waitress was extremley helpfull bearing in mind she spoke very little english but between our Spanish and her English it was avery nice evening.
