  • Does anyone know of any in the area.

Have heard that a German chap runs kennels but I have no idea where they are. Not bothered about the cost, more concerened about how well ran they are and how well the dogs are cared for in the heat, walked regularly, etc etc.

  • We recently contacted Judith and were recommended some kennels for the boxers which are apparently inSan Isidro.  The name of the lady is Marisa and she is Belgian. Her phone number is 679 161 682.  She is my opinion is reasonably priced also.  She will collect and you provide the food and bedding that your pet would like.  I have not used her but did book the two boxers in for next week but as one has died then I now have a friend to look after her instead which is better under the circumstances!  As far as I would be concerned if Judith recommended this lady then it would be ok for me!!  I spoke to her and she seemed very pleasant indeed.  I hope this helps.

  • Have had a few 'doggy' queries over the past few months and all of your help has been great, from finding vets, kennels, airlines etc etc.

Just wanted to ask one final thing (before me and the pooch descend on you all in January), I know dogs are not allowed onto the beaches and obviously there are no open green or woodland areas in that area so where do all you doggy walkers take your pets for a good run and play.

  • Depends where you will be living tig, a good walk is from El Varerdero down to Alcala on the coastal walk you can let your dog run free there

  • yes I know the walk you mean - he'll probbaly chase the seagulls though and end up in the sea !! (ha ha) - I had thought about this one but was looking for somewhere where other dog walkers will be as my dog is still quite young and likes a good play with other dogs - but thanks anyway this is an ideal walk for an early morning stroll.
