Have any of you been effected by the above going bust!!!

I have!!  - Just been phoned to say my flights in February no longer exist.

To be fair, I dealt with The Travel Shop on internet and they were very good.  They assured me that I will get full refund from ATOL and they found me an alternative flight almost identical to original ones - only 'a360 more expensive!! So at the moment, my bank account is very light as two lots of flights have been deducted.

So it could have been worse.  A lot of people are flying out this week or next - it must be much worse for them (not to mention the poor people already out there waiting to fly back).

Yes they have.  From 'a350 one way, including taxes (Birmingham).

  • I too lost a flight back to Uk and hope to get a refund, but that takes time.  I found a good daytime flight for the same price with First Choice.  Xmas always is a problem and i did not find Flight Center very helpful.  after all, they take your booking but won't take the flack !!!!!!!

  • Hi

We booked with Flightline and CT2.  We were supposed to arrive at a civilised time on Friday, but along with everyone else, only found out a week before that we had no tickets!
     :(
After much frantic internet exploring we eventually found a return flight, and although very expensive and gruesome flighttimes (especially considering we originally booked in January!) we are now sorted and will see everyone tomorrow.

Car hire is still a bit of a mess though!

Oh well, at least we've not lost our complete holiday like some poor families.
