  • Visiting Los Gigantes on 2nd Jan and was wondering how to make the most of the activities in the village on the 5th . We are regular visiters but never at that time of year .Any info on how to make a special evening for my 6 year old little boy go smoothly would be greatly appreciated. I have no idea of start times etc but presume everywhere will be very busy.

  • Everyone heads for the square in Los Gigantes, that's where it all happens.  It is an evening event and can be anytime after 8pm. The arrival time of the kings  will be a last minute decision, and even then it could be later than planned.

Keep and eye on this forum and also our "What's on locally" page http://www.losgigantes.com/evenings.htm for the full info nearer the time.

Hope you enjoy your stay in the area.

  • Thanks for that , would eating in one of the restaurants on the square be a good idea to get a vantage point for the procession.

Wow that early, is it possible for some restaurant names. We've probably been to all of them at some stage but can't remember any names. We can't find any advertised on the main web page that are overlooking the square

  • If you go into Rosman , the shop next to the Santander Bank in Los Gigantes, you could purchase a present for him, this is wrapped for you, placed in a box of his age group. Then on the evening when the three kings are on the stage his name will be called for a king to give him a present. Listen carefully though as the pronounciation of his name may be a little unusual!!!
