Have any of you been there for this night out of entertainment. I went with some friends in July and had a wonderful evening. OK 45 euros a head, but we were picked and up and returned by their
transport. On arrival we were given as much Sangria as you wished. We had canapes, albeit basic and a three course meal, which was pumpkin soup, roll and butter, a chicken dish with rice and black beans and quicilla for dessert. very acceptable and nicely presented. We also had two bottles of water and two jugs of red wine. Being greedy we ordered another two jugs of wine and assumed we would have a bill for all
the wine and water at the end of the evening. We watched a very entertaining show, in fact we loved it, and the bill at the end of the night was 3 euros
yes 3 euros
as each additional jug was only one fifty euros each. When you consider the taxis fare of probably 14 euros return we felt we had had value for money. This was a Saturday by the way. Also about 60 people there.
Now tonight, two friends have been and OK on complimentary tickets, freebies, they are shocked as they got there by taxis at their own expence due to circumstances, the kitchen was closed, there were only about 16 people there and they got only a bowl of peanuts, they asked for white wine and only got a Bottle of Vina Sol, as they said that was all they had. After the show they were presented with a bill for the wine which was 22.50 euros. Now I dont know but perhaps complimentary tickets do not embrace what is given to paying customers and perhaps a Tuesday night is the freebies night.Perhaps someone from this organisation can enlighten us.
I have been promoting this venue to all and sundry and tonights version is very disturbing to say the least. My view was this was a great attraction in this area for holiday makers, especially those with children as it is not a late night and the entertainment was very local and very entertaining. Obviously once seen you would not particularly go again. But to me and my friends it was a great night out. A one off to be remembered. It would really be good to hear other points of view on this subject, especially from anyone who has been there.
