  • Well, I thought Edward was being extremely helpful.

The questioner was asking for information about car hire and Edward  politely directed him to the information he had requested.

    Why re-invent the wheel?

  • pierre,

The very short answer to your question is 'yes'. There are a number of competing companies locally after your business with, possibly, some deals about due to diminishing visitor numbers !

If you go onto the main site from this message board you will find a handful of companies who are paid & authorised advertisers.

Opinions vary as to who gives the best deals or the best cars. There are plenty out there so you have to pay your money and make your choice. Good luck.

  • your being a bit unfair, for the last week before the fire all i read on this board was people moaning about how quite the village was. Than when someone asks a question ( which has already been asked 4 times in general discussion) everybody starts sledging them off. Before you do this just stop and think about the people who have lost property in the fire, if you want to attract new visitors to the village, just be a bit more understanding there are a lot of posts on this board and if you are new to the area you may not know what your looking for

  • Maps, I take great exception to your remarks.

I will have you know that I have never before been accused of ldblquote sledgingdblquote . I have never sledged  (well, apart from the bad winter of 1967, but times were different then and it was socially acceptable).

I have consulted my solicitor who has advised me that, on the contrary, it is you who is on a  very ldblquote slippery slopedblquote  and ldblquote skating on thin icedblquote .

  • Oh Dear !!

Yet another posted subject ends up with handbags at dawn. What a carry on !

Car hire in Puerto ? Yes there is and it was quite well covered in the previous post on the subject but it sure ain't worth arguing about, is it ?

We must have more important matters to concern ourselves with ?

    Don't worry - be happy.

  • HOW TO DO A SITE SEARCH

On home page, to the right of where you click the link to bring you to this message board you will see SITE SEARCH.  Type in what you are searching for and all the related information will be listed.

    eg. Car hire Puerto Santiago
           Apartments Los Gigantes
          Restaurants Playa Arena

HOW TO DO A MESSAGE BOARD SEARCH

Scroll to the top of this page, above the news (or on any of the other message board pages) and click on the box "search".
Search box will appear (you may need to scroll down a bit to see it if there is a lot of news).
You can then type in what you are searching for and the related subject will be shown.
Click on whatever may seem of interest to you and it will take you to the related topic and comment.

This is a far easier way than wading through all these pages of comments.
