Hands up who likes a bully and approves of bullying? I can only see one hand.
It?s a very cowardly way to behave but apparently it appears to be quite common, especially on the internet on social networking sites were deranged individuals take a dislike to someone for no particular reason and make things so uncomfortable for the victim that they drive the victim away. It would of course never happen on this website. The management would never allow it - after all, they are decent people and have high standards to uphold.
But wait a minute. Has any noticed the five week absence of the most prolific poster this website has ever had? I?m talking about Janey who to my recollection has never posted a nasty comment in all the time she has been a member. She has posted over 600 constructive messages, mainly about eating establishments. So why does she have a curse score of -410 ? Is there anyone reading this post who thinks that?s warranted (apart from the bully that is)? Anyone who really deserved such a score would have been banned a long time ago. She hasn?t though, she?s just been driven away by a bully.
I?m pretty sure I know who the bully is. It takes a very sad individual to engage in such a prolonged hate campaign.
So what is the management of this quality website going to do about the bullying problem and to put right this injustice. It would only take two clicks of a mouse to do it. If it were down to me I would have put a stop to it a long time ago.
I recall when bless/curse was first introduced, George W Bush got into trouble over a silly joke and was temporarily banned. I thought it wasn?t fair so in sympathy, I cursed the PM twice and told him so, explaining my reasons. He didn?t like been cursed at all so with two clicks of a mouse the bless/curse system was disabled for all the management members. I wonder how he would have felt if I had cursed him 410 times and there was nothing he could do to put right such an injustice? Just the way Janey feels now I expect.
Come on Dolly do the right thing. Stop this unacceptable bullying with two clicks of a mouse. You know it?s the right thing to do.
