  • Will be visiting this Xmas and new yearwith the wife (first time back in quite a while). Where would you recommend spending Xmas day ?  Am staying hotel playa la arena but it's a bit big and impersonal .  Are the bars and eateries all open?

  • I've been to the Harbour Club for the past 3 years - really good, most places here do xmas fayre in the evening rather than during the day like you would have at home. Last year on xmas night everywhere in LosGigs was closed other than those doing food, we went out for pre dinner drinks and not one place open, not even the Bamboo (which never closes - obviously apart from xmas day night)

  • Turtle Lynne, how do you know that Christmas food is great at JD's when to my knowledge this is the first Christmas the restaurant has been open. I am not in any way questioning the quality of their Christmas fayre but lets stop promoting mates and keep the posts factual for the benefit of forum members.
