    I'm flying out on the 6th january to LG  :) do the restaurants and bars generally close or stay open in the evening, given this day is a holiday?

  • yes most are open make your way to the square especally if youve got kids or like kids the three kings ride into the village on camals and the square is usually busy have a good trip ;D

  • Hi there,  The 5th is the Eve of the kings, its like xmas eve, when they start their travels to leave presents, the 6th are when children and family members give and receive presents. On the 5th you will find the 3 kings in the plaza of Los Gigs giving presents to the local kids!!

  • Correct Babe. The 5th is when we go into the Plaza and watch the Kings giving the children their presents and throwing sweeties. Anyone arriving on the 6th will miss it. QED.
