  • Hi,

I was wondering if anybody could recommend a company to use for airport transfers for our visit at the end of August? The cheaper the better.

    Thanks

  • I was put on to Ronald Bauer of info@sunholidays24.com. We're travelling in a couple of weeks, transfers all arranged at an exceptionally good price, also a pleasure to deal with.

  • Yes. I have just booked El Mar for our transfers in September. 60 euros for the pair of us there and back (30 euros each way).  We are staying in Los Gigantes.

  • We have used Ronald a number of times and he's always been reliable. His first language is German but he's
also completely fluent in English and Spansh. He's a fount of knowledge about the area so is a very useful person to know. It's not always Ronald driving but his wife and his staff are all very good.

  • What about a taxi?
The Los Gigantes taxi site is good.

A taxi for four is good value compared to transfers and you do not need to go to places in Silencio, PDLA, Los C etc to drop off before getting to Los G the end of the line.

  • I emailed the taxi site and was informed they are not allowed to pick up from the airport... Ronald Bauers a bit cheaper than a taxi as well.

  • Thank you very much everyone for your helpful suggestions. I will contact Ronald and El Mar and hopefully get it booked today.

They cannot pick up but you can get a taxi at a fixed rate (print out the form on their website) and get them to take you back from Los G at the end of your stay.

  • We used El Mar last year for our airport transfers. They were very reliable, met us at the airport no problem and got us back there in plenty of time for our flight - I can recommend them.   We've decided on car hire for 2 weeks this year - picking up and drop off at airport.  Only because we've got our parents with us this year and so are planning to travel around a bit as it's their first time to Tenerife.  I'd definitely use El Mar again.  Hope you have a nice holiday.

  • There are quite a few companies involved in airport transfer.

You will see a row of stands at the airport (TS). I expect these
will all have to be pre-booked. But they are bookable on the
    net.

The competition keeps them on their toes. I have not heard
of any bad reports from any users of them.
