  • Just wondered if anyone had played a round of golf or stayed at Abama and tried one of the Michelin restaurants.

  • We have eaten at the Abama on three occasions.  Twice in the inside restaurant overlooking the water feature and once at the beach restaurant.  I honestly can't say that any of these were memorable dining experiences.  I had one of the worst rib-eye steaks ever in the restaurant and a mushy rissoto which I couldn't finish.  The service at the beach bar was dreadful.  There were six of us and delivery of our meals was spread over a half hour.  They were also unable to make some of their cocktails due to a lack of ingredients.  In my opinion, the prices are extortionate for the quality of food and service provided.  I will be interested to see what others experienced.  There are far better restaurants in Los G, with sincere rather than pretentious service.  Can't give an opinion on the golf course as I'm not a golfer.

  • Thank you for that feedback, I have read TripAdvisor but so many differing views so I thought I would ask 'locally', I think I will be changeing my mind. I've also been looking at Las Madrigueras Hotel in Las Am, it's for a special occasion and I would like somewhere 5* for a long weekend hat has golf.
