APOLOGIES........Due to circumstances beyond my control the funeral arrangements have been changed.

The Funeral will now be taking place in Santa Las Tenias, Santa Cruz on Thursday 10 July 2008 at 1pm.  The celebration of Roy's life will now be in Alcala in Plaza Square, for anyone who cannot be present at the service in Santa Cruz please just come to Alcala Plaza Square for the celebration and anyone wishing to make a toast to Roy there will be more than welcome.

I do apologise for the inconvenience.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of a truly wonderful man....Mr Roy Weatherhog.

A Celebration of Roy's life will be held at Los Gigantes Church on Thursday 10 July 2008, at 3pm. Please do not bring or send flowers, but if you wish to donate to a charity, please do so at a charity of your choice.  Celebrations of Roy's life will be held at the Green Corner - Los Gigantes and then on to Plaza Square Alcala (Domingo's Bar) where Roy lived and has alot of friends.

Please do not wear black as this is a celebration of life!

  • Many thanks to all Dad's friends who attended his send off, despite the fact that his final weeks in Tenerife were so sad for him I know he loved it there and was for a time at least truly happy, we were proud to have him as our dad, we loved him and we will miss him, he was a deeply private man not given to sharing his feelings and I wish now more than anything we could have been there for him when he needed us the most, I will miss his advice, his help and the fact he always new what was the right thing to do and most of all I will miss his friendship,  Good Night Dad & God Bless.

  • Our Grandpa was loved by all his grandchildren very much. The memories we've shared over the last few days are happy, love-filled ones that we will always cherish. We wish we'd had a chance to get to know him as the adults we've become but we hope he knew that he was loved and missed by each and every one of us.
Love you, Emma & Adam xxx
