  • ghod - Los Gigs is for the over 50's, you'll have to saddle up your horse and head outta town.

wags - if you're going to have a little dig about spelling you have to make sure your own is perfect or you'll be caught out ! Presumably you meant 'months' ? and if you are ajust using days and months as plurals then you don't need the apostrophe. Oops, doh !!

There would be no Logs Gigs without the over-50's.

Seb, my old mucker - it is insights !

    Victor Meldrews rule OK

  • Well Ghod, Sebastian, et al, so you think people over 50 are boring.

By the time you reach that age, you really donquote t care if other people find you boring. You have probably worked out who you really are and the most important thing is that you are comfortable with yourself. You also value other people for what they are and not for superficial things like their appearance or their wealth.

But the really sad cases are younger people who are so unhappy with who they are and are so bored with themselves, that they feel the need to put on an act, fantasize about being important, being a member of the opposite sex, travelling the world and living, say, in Antigua (of all places)!

    Humour button On.

Anyway, it sounds like you two girls have long passed the big four O yourselves.  Not long to wait now for the menopause and the Freddie Mercury moustache  (or am I too late already?).

  • Ghod, how do you like my Avatar. This one was taken of me on my 50th birthday (many many years ago). I must admit I have rather let myself go since then. Too many bottles of Canary and too much rich food.

Go on Ghod, take the pies if you must.

  • I think you should update your avatar too Seb. The letters "H" and "I" have faded on your shirt. Too much bright sunlight.

  • Actually Falsestuff its a nice 86 degs with a little cloud cover here in the Caribbean.
I thought my little "seb" was quite good as an Avatar. Sadly nothing has faded but my middle finger stands up to you.
